Hello to all.

I'm a member of the IBEW in Cincinnati, although I work all across the country.  I'm an electrician by trade, very interested in developing labor law and labor history.  I'm also interested in technology (naturally!)  I write some, read a lot, and generally post essays on the various IBEW forums.

I've been an electrician for 37 years, and formerly a member of the IAM and IW unions before getting into the IBEW apprenticeship.  I have served as a delegate to our national conventions, president of my local, pension fund trustee, and several other positions.  I'm a graduate of the Harry Van Arsdale, Jr., School of Labor Studies and NYLS, but I also attended Cornell Extension in NYC, and about a half dozen other colleges over the years.  I worked as a student intern in the General Counsel to the NLRB office in NYC.

I look forward to contributing to the group as best I can.
