I just had to respond
« on: March 29, 2007, 07:38:01 PM »
This from my friend John (was he baiting me?)~ Too much of my time is spent addressing BS like this that comes my way. It's just my nature I can't let it go without responding. I wouldn't want someone to think I agreed with such **** by being silent. This is something I received and my comeback follows. ~ Jim

_NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION_

This is probably the best e-mail I've seen in a long, long time. The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA. This guy should run for President one day...

"We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights."

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes_**. (This one is my pet peeve...get an education and go to work....don't expect everyone else to take care of you!)

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!)

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from! (Lastly....)

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. _The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!_

If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you do not, who will?

John ~ Wow! Where does one start to correct so much wrong-headed thinking as this? This was not written by Kaye but another Republican politician see here for info: http://www.snopes.com/language/document/norights.htm

My bed is not wet but I am a liberal who disagrees with most of this preamble. Speaking of piss, I unlike the writer know when I'm being pissed on. Conservatives know I don't piss the bed because while they don't mind if I own a bazookas but they spy on everyone in their bedrooms (sick perverted bastards). They want to make sure no one is having anything but conservative sex (man on top get it over with quick). God forbids if a guy was getting oral sex from his girl or someone was engaged in interracial or homosexual sex. The big conservative fantasy is doing it on a bed covered in money.

I note that the original pieces part about not sending soldiers to die on foreign soil is left out of Rep. Kaye's mailing. That is because today's conservative republicans want to spread Imperialism, steal other countries resources and open the world up to more cheap sweatshop labor because they favor profits over people. These fat cat republican corporate elitists also love to send our children to fight their wars not their own children.

To address each Article:
Article I: The top 5% of Americans own 90 + % of our countries riches and don't want that to change. If part of the other 95% of the population decides that is unjust and takes to the streets to protest, the 5% will use our son's and daughters in the military to shoot us dead in the streets, If you doubt it ask the: NY rioter who refused to be drafted in the Civil War and were shot dead in the streets (they lacked the $600 dollars to buy their way out of the draft like the wealthy), ask the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) members who spoke against World War I (the rich used the VFW to shoot and hang the IWW protesters), ask workers who in the early 1900's tried to form unions and were shot dead by company Pinkerton agents and the US military all around our whole country, ask the dead and wounded at Kent State who were protesting the secret expansion of the Vietnam War into Cambodia and Laos after Nixon said that wouldn't happen, asked the 10's of thousands of  Latin American union organizers, priest, nuns and peasants who were killed by dictator's death squads trained at our very own Fort Benning Georgia to make sure those countries dictators kept their countries friendly to US corporate interests that wanted to exploit the poor of those countries.  Big cities like Chicago still have historic brick garrisons with gun sights where the cities rich and wealthy tourist could go and be protected by soldiers in case of riots by the poor. These buildings were all around the country. Socialist and communist are still feared by the rich because they preach equality and sharing (like that commie Jesus Christ). The Catholic Church is trying to fire Latin American priest and bishops who preach Liberation Theology (which teaches that the poor don't have to accept poverty but should start worker owned businesses and co-ops and fight for their rights from brutal dictators). The church prefers to tell Latin Americans poor to suffer on Earth and be rewarded in Heaven. This was Mother Theresa's message. While the poor that met her died in filthy clinics Mother Theresa was being treated in the best hospitals in Europe and the USA. Most of the poor of the world are women and the Catholic Church doesn't want women in position of power in the church so do you really think they have the best interest of poor women at heart?

The poor in the world don't want big screen TV's they just don't want their children sent to fight in wars that only make the rich richer. They don't want trash dumps and other hazardous industries built in their neighborhoods that kill their children (that seems to be too much to ask because these poor folks are expendable to conservatives) Locating dangerous business and polluters in poor communities is environmental terrorism plain and simple. The poor didn't want or need the crack cocaine business in their neighborhoods. Ollie North and Reagan infested those communities with cheap drugs so that those two criminals could run an illegal war in Nicaragua against a government that threw out US businesses. It was a "twofer," they could help US businesses to exploit Nicaraguan workers, give their Columbian dictator friends a drug market and also help fulfill the conservative republican dream of disposing of black americans by addicting them. Black folk were no longer useful to them now that slavery was no longer legal. Reagan almost had a **** when the Crips and the Bloods had a peace treaty because those gangs realized that the "Powers that Be" wanted to wipe out blacks in America. It took undercover agents in those gangs to get them back to killing one another instead of realizing what; the powers that be were really up to. All the poor in America want is not welfare but to fare well. Faring well to them would be as simple as guarantying to let them alone and not be exploited by corporations and military recruiters that tell their children they have no options but to be cannon fodder in an Imperialist war for oil.

Article II: I have every right to be OFFENDED.  I am offended the wealthy use stupid middle-class folks to do their bidding. I am offended when these middle-class folks say they want smaller government. What they are really doing is the bidding of the rich who want corporate owned government because they have stock in these corporations. I don't want RJ Reynolds running my health care plan. I don't want Firestone with exploding tires or Ford with exploding Pintos running the Department of Safety or Depts. Highways. I am offender when the rich get the middle-class to end the welfare system and other safety nets when the average middle-class person is himself only two paychecks away from being on welfare. I am offended that the rich have gotten the middle-class to trash a welfare mom buying steak when the wealthiest US family the Waltons got $1 billion in corporate welfare in 2006 for their Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores. The middle-class line to spend money in these "welfare” stores while they trash a poor woman for using food stamps in the same Wal-Mart stores. Let's call it "Welfaremart" because that's what it is. They got the $1 billion despite making six billion. It seems corporate welfare is for the greedy and not the needy.  Welfare for the poor is less than 1% of the US budget so it's not even worth talking about. Corporate welfare is 10's of times that but we don't here about that. How come? Oh yeah, the corporations own the media. I do turn the channel and I note that most of the idiots (another name for republicans and conservatives) are watching FOX News or listening to Rush. I was offended when a drug addict and pervert who goes to the Philippines to have sex with little boys, Rush Windbag said, that John Edwards could get the cancer sympathy vote for president now that his wife had incurable cancer. I guess that's just part of  "compassionate conservatism." All that term means is, smiling cannibals.

Article III: Once again it's all about protecting the corporations. Your family burned to death in a Pontiac Fierro? You shouldn't have bought a Firerro you had lots of other choices in the "free marker" system. Remember what some rich GM stockholder said, "As GM goes so goes the nation." Sure your family burned to death but do you want to sue GM and destroy your whole nation? The notion that everyone is sue happy is another myth spread by corporations. Bad lawsuits are thrown out of lower courts so the whole notion of tort reform is a joke. Sure a lady was burned by hot McDonald s coffee but the truth is that McDonald s was warned 300 times that their coffee was being served to hot. Should they have been told 301 times before a woman with second-degree burns was allowed to sue? Didn't see that too much in the corporate owned media though.did ya?

Article IV: Dear rich I'm not asking to be taken care of just don't come looking for my kids to fight in an oil war to make you richer. This one is my pet peeve and every time I see Gulf War vets with no legs and arms I want to strangle Bush, Cheney and their oil rich buddies, which is why they don't want the media showing that stuff. Want to get rid of couch potatoes?  Get rid of professional sports (it only makes the rich richer anyway). Couch potatoes aren't dangerous but armchair generals are. You know, those Lazy Boy reclining Rambos that call radio talk shows. You hear then saying, "We need to invade Syria, Iran, North Korea etc." It's all, "kill and burn " with these family room 60 inch TV heroes raised on violent video games. Send these aholes what's the worst that could happen? If they all get killed at least they can't breed. Hell, send the Bush twins. Tell them in the Marines beer and Jegermeister is free and they'll sign up for life. Send 'Oxy" Limbaugh because I'm sure that pimple on his ass that kept him out of Nam is healed by now. Please, please send that corporate tool Sean "Insanity."  Put a target on that lying scumbags helmet and make sure his flak jacket is stuffed with confetti.

Also, Dear poor, swing by my house and my church and we'll feed you because that's what God wants us to do. We liberals don't have to put the word compassionate in front of the word libearal because it goes without saying. Better to be a bleeding heart than have no heart.

Article V: We have the right to free health care because God said, "What you do for the least of my people you do unto me." I guess you rich ignore that part and the part about the rich have as much chance of getting into Heaven as a camel does of getting through the eye of a needle Ok Mitchell and fellow conservative ilk I don't want free health care for all I just want them to have the same health care as you public servants and politicians. After all you "represent" us. I pay for your health care so if it's good enough for you it's good enough for us.

Article VI: Murdering murderers has not ever deterred crime. OK I know you say. "It deterred that murder" but so would have jailing him for life. After all, God said, "Thou shall not kill" he didn't make exemptions for crime and war. Let's say your youngest son killed your eldest daughter. Would you not go into court and beg to not have him executed? Of course you would unless you conservatives are even more heartless that I imagined. Well, guess what? Were all sons and daughters and brothers and sisters. You'll find that concept in the bible. You know that book you've been trying to shove down everyone’s throat. I saw a guy on TV that was pushing to have the Ten Commandments in every school and government office. I laughed so hard when the reporter asked him to name the 10 and he only knew only 4. Ha, ha I wasn't surprised. Ha, ha you conservative hypocrites slay me.

Article VII: Stealing is a sin. I do remember Jesus multiplying the fish and turning water to wine to SHARE with all. I'm not willing to kill people over "things." I guess the guy who wrote the previoius Articles is because he seems to have a fixation for "big screen TV's."

Article VIII: Jobs? What the Hell are those? Spend all you want on education there are still no jobs. It's a race to the bottom to find the lowest wages and China and India have won. Learn one of those two languages before you go to those countries for a job. If you don't go back to the USA (see your racist Article X for confirmation). I swear conservatives love a crap economy so that the poor have no opportunities other than to join the armed services. It's a volunteer army by reason of poverty. AMEN
Article IX:  I'd be a bunch happier if we could get rid of racist, corporate teat sucking conservative views like Mitchell and his ilk. I relish that I wont have to have his type as neighbors in Heaven. I do hope I get that big screen TV in Heaven that he is so orgasmic about with a cable hookup to the Hell channel so I can see his type frying on a hot grill. I guess it could be a Hell cooking show and he would be beer butt chicken on the hot coal grill. Ahhh, a man can have dreams and pursue a ton of happiness with such thoughts. Mitchell’s type gets  glee out of others misfortune and I will to when I watch him on the Hell channel (that's not very Christian of me but given that conservatives think they're Christian I would never call myself a Christian and risk being in pews with them). I'm not confused by the bill of rights. It states, well-regulated militia and separation of church and state so you conservatives are the confused ones.

Article X: OK you racists see my Article VIII. I was in K-Mart the other day and witnessed a racist like Mitchell. I was walking behind two Oriental men and their wives none of whom were speaking English. A redneck who looked not very bright going the other way imitated their speech and said, "You're in America speak American." He added, "My grandfather had to learn it when he came here."  I was appalled and stared at the redneck. As I turned the corner one of the Oriental men spoke to the other man in English and the other responded in English. So first off, these men were bi-lingual so they were smarter than the redneck. Secondly, these folks could have been tourists. In which case they'd have gotten a really **** impression of the USA by the redneck's comments. Secondly didn't the rednecks grandfather (I suspect a Nazi from Germany) have to spend some time learning English? The redneck had no idea how long the Orientals had been in the US. Next redneck, it's the English language not American (no wonder the rest of the world calls us the ugly Americans). People who come to the US will learn English all in good time. Learning another language is hard and I bet these rednecks couldn't (they'll have to learn Chinese if they want a job see my Article VIII).

Article XI: How wonderful we won't be persecuted for not believing in the same God as conservative republicans (the God of money). People often accuse atheists, the ACLU and liberals of forming a godless conspiracy to attack the founding principles of our allegedly Christian nation for wanting to remove phrases about God. But historically, these symbolic phrases were in not a part of the founding of our nation - they were added at later dates for political purposes rooted in religious and anti-Communism sentiments. Those who see the phrases "In God We Trust" and "Under God," which are officially sanctioned by legislative acts of Congress, as the government communicating an endorsement of religion simply wish to reverse these decisions. They instead uphold a founding principle of our nation instead - the ban on Congress to establish religion as protected by the First Amendment. Atheists are not trying to impose atheism or remove religion by taking God off the money and out of the Pledge - if atheists were, they would ask for "In No God We Trust" and "Under No God." to be put on money. Atheists simply desire for government to remain neutral with respect to religion. Many religious minorities see such phrases as excluding their religious views and favoring the Western Judeo-Christian conception of God instead. Many Jews and Christians see no need for their faith to receive government promotion. Theodore Roosevelt, a Christian himself, spoke against the use of "In God We Trust" on currency because he felt it was sacrilege to trivialize the use of God's name with something as common as money. Sorry but God said, "Give away your riches to inhabit the kingdom of heaven" not make money godly. We are not wholly a nation of people who trust in or are under God. We are a nation of many different faiths - or lack thereof - but who are nonetheless united as one nation no matter what Mitchell, the K Mart redneck and other conservative Republicans think. Those who support government acknowledgments of God and endorsements of religion and those want to shove the Christian religion down our throats should carefully reconsider taking into account history and the tried and true patriotic American value of separating church and state. That separation is our history and to those uncomfortable with it, TOUGH.

What I have stated is fact, common sense and sensible and I wish my above Articles were being e-mailed for years like the above racist hate filled ones by Mitchell and others were but that won't happen because hate and greed sells, Also the Articles that Mitchell and others send around for years now serves their corporate masters, the top 5% that own everything and want it to stay that way. Good boy Mitchell you have done your masters bidding now get back to the slave shack and await further orders to serve and come bowing and scraping like the good obedient dogs you are. You are not sensible folk you are gullible folk. Enjoy the Kool-Aid.

Republican/libertarian "Bills of No Rights for Workers but All Rights for Companies."

Reminds me of the Augean stables of old mythoogy -- Greek was it? The hero was sentenced to unending **** shovelling. From stables polluted endlessly by -- horses' asses .... we are certainly in the Augean Age!
